We are looking for a Test Equipment Integration Technician / Engineer to be responsible for developing our component test systems to defined requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical, optical and mechanical test engineering principles.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electro/optical test systems, to be housed in a 19inch cabinet.
• Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications and reports.
• Raise and manage the purchase of the required parts.
• System assembly, integration and commissioning of electro-optical test systems.
• Conduct functional, performance and calibration tests to ensure specification compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve test & measurement issues to component level.

Skills & Experience:

Essential:

• Level 4 / 6 qualification in an electrical, electronic, or optical discipline..
• 1 – 3 years experience of system integration.
• Proficient in cabinet assembly, and cable management.
• Diagnose and resolve issues within electro/optical/mechanical test systems.
• Excellent documentation, communication and teamwork abilities.

Desirable:

• Electro/optic/mechanical system design.
• Experience in programming in C# or Python.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
